ISE2018 in Tokyo

The 12th International Symposium on Ecohydraulics (ISE2018; Aug 18-24, 2018) was a great opportunity to meet many people working in the field of ecohydraulics. I could have a clear direction in my research through many discussions with the participants.
Kurita Ecohydraulics Workshop-ECoENet was a great start of the ISE2018, opening with keynote talks, group discussion, and finalized by synthesis talks. Students and early career researchers might have benefited from the contents in which they could have chances to communicate with keynote speakers and experienced researchers.
Main part of the ISE2018 was successful; keynote talks were all great and motivated me for future research. I do look forward to the ISE2020 to be held in Lyon, France.
