Visiting Valencia

Visiting Valencia was a great opportunity to meet excellent scientists, see great architecture, and experience fantastic food culture there.

The main purpose was to meet Paco (center), Paolo (left) and Rafa for discussing our joint activities (hopefully in the near future) in the field of ecohydraulics and ecoinformatics.  Paco has been working on ecohydraulics and e-flow assessment, while Paolo further develops his activities using innovative measurements.  Discussion with them (as well as with Ans and Rafa) has always offered me a great step forward in research.  I hope they can visit me in Tokyo sometimes, specifically for ISE2018 in Japan, for which I will be working as a local organizing committee.
